For institutions
The Conservatory plan gives schools and universities a dedicated tenant: an isolated space with its own members, sign-in configuration, branding, and data policy. This section is for the administrators who set up and run that tenant.

What a tenant is
A tenant is your institution’s private instance of Ember. Accounts that belong to your tenant are managed entirely by your administrators and cannot be used to sign in to any other tenant or to the public Ember commons. This separation is what lets a school enforce its own roster, retention, and access policies.
Within your tenant you can import a roster, assign teachers and students, organize them, configure how members sign in, apply your institution’s name and logo, and set a data-retention policy. Your data is isolated from every other tenant.
How access is controlled
Ember controls every action by permission, never by a role’s name. A role is simply a named bundle of permissions, so you can tailor what teachers, administrators, and students may do without waiting on us to define new roles. See manage members and roles.
How to get a tenant
Conservatory is sold by quote rather than self-serve signup, and it is billed annually. Contact us to start the process, and we will provision your tenant and walk your team through setup.
