Manage your account

Your account settings live under Settings, then Account. From there you can change how you sign in, update your details, and manage your devices.

Change your email

  1. Open Settings, then Account.
  2. Choose Change email and enter the new address.
  3. Confirm with your password. Ember updates your email once verified.

Change your password

  1. Open Settings, then Account.
  2. Choose Change password.
  3. Enter your current password, then your new one, and save.

If you signed up with Google or Apple, you sign in through that provider and do not set a password in Ember. See sign-in options for how external sign-in works.

Reset a forgotten password

On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password. Ember emails you a link to set a new one. The link is valid for a limited time, so use it promptly.

Manage your devices

When you sign in across devices, your practice stays in sync (on plans that include sync). If you want to end every active session, for example on a shared or lost device, choose Sign out of all devices under Account. You will need to sign in again everywhere.

Update your profile

Your display name, locale, and instruments live in your player profile, also under Settings. To set up the instruments you play, see your instruments.

Delete your account

To remove your account and personal practice data, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. Deletion cannot be undone. If you belong to a school tenant, your administrator manages that account instead; contact them.
