Common fixes
Most issues have a quick fix. Try these first.
No sound when I play a routine
- Turn up your device volume.
- Make sure your browser tab is not muted. Look for a mute mark on the tab.
- Put on your headphones, or check they are plugged in all the way.
- Reload the page and press Start again.
The tuner or tone meter does not move
- Open a listening tool, then allow the mic when asked.
- Look for a small mic icon in your browser bar. Set it to Allow, then reload.
- Play a bit louder and closer to the mic.
- Close other apps that use the mic, like a video call.

My practice did not save
- Check that you finished the routine. Ember saves when you complete it.
- Make sure you are signed in. Open the menu and look for your name.
- If you were offline, connect again. Ember will sync your work.
The page looks wrong or is stuck
- Reload the page.
- Close the tab and open Ember again.
- Make sure your browser is up to date.
