Common fixes

Most issues have a quick fix. Try these first.

No sound when I play a routine

  • Turn up your device volume.
  • Make sure your browser tab is not muted. Look for a mute mark on the tab.
  • Put on your headphones, or check they are plugged in all the way.
  • Reload the page and press Start again.

The tuner or tone meter does not move

  • Open a listening tool, then allow the mic when asked.
  • Look for a small mic icon in your browser bar. Set it to Allow, then reload.
  • Play a bit louder and closer to the mic.
  • Close other apps that use the mic, like a video call.

My practice did not save

  • Check that you finished the routine. Ember saves when you complete it.
  • Make sure you are signed in. Open the menu and look for your name.
  • If you were offline, connect again. Ember will sync your work.

The page looks wrong or is stuck

  • Reload the page.
  • Close the tab and open Ember again.
  • Make sure your browser is up to date.
