Getting started

Do I need an account? Yes. You sign in to use Ember. See create your account.

What do all the words mean? See core concepts for plain meanings of routine, exercise, lesson, plan, and goal.

Can I sign in with Google or Apple? Yes. Pick that option on the sign-in screen.

How do I start? Open Plan and play down the list. See play your first routine.

Can I make my own routine? Yes. See build your own routine.

Can I add my own songs? Yes. Go to Library, then Songs, then Add song.

Why will the tuner not move? You may need to allow the microphone. See set up your microphone.

What is the Tone Meter? It shows the color of your sound. See understand your tone.

Does Ember save my practice? Yes, on its own. Open Calendar and Trends to see it.

What is a streak? The number of days in a row you practice. Keep it going by playing a little each day.

My teacher invited me. What do I do? Use the link in your invite email to sign up or sign in. That links you to their studio.

Who can see my practice? You choose what you share with a teacher. Check your sharing setting in Settings.

How much does Ember cost? See plans and billing.

How do I change my password? Open Settings, then Account. See manage your account.
