Set goals
A goal is something you want to reach. Ember keeps it in front of you and shows how close you are. Goals make practice feel like it adds up.
Make a goal
- Go to Goals.
- Press New goal.
- Pick what kind of goal you want (see the list below).
- Set your target, like “20 minutes a day” or “play a high C”.
- Save. Ember starts tracking it right away.
Kinds of goals
- Time goals. Practice a set number of minutes a day or a week.
- Range goals. Reach a new high or low note.
- Tone goals. Move your sound toward a warmer or brighter color.
- Habit goals. Keep a streak of practice days going.
See how you are doing
Open Goals any time. Each goal shows a bar or a number that fills in as you practice. You do not have to log anything by hand. Ember updates your goals from your practice.
When you reach a goal
Ember marks the goal as done and celebrates with you. Then you can set a new one. Small goals, reached often, keep you moving.
